I am a knitter and textiles artist based in London. I started at Central Saint Martins with a desire to explore the sculptural qualities of knitwear. I was particularly interested in the endless possibilities for texture and structure created by manipulating a single strand of string. I experimented with different weights of yarn, fibres and techniques to express common themes that influence my work, such as time, memory and traces.

Throughout the years, I have developed an admiration for raw, organic and neutral-toned textiles, and my works frequently fall between the category of art and fashion. Towards the end of my second year at university, I became particularly interested in pursuing the possibilities hidden within unconventional materials. I value craftsmanship and have a desire to influence perceptions on luxury clothing. Many of my recent works focus on applying new values or purposes onto materials through craft. I have previously incorporated materials such as paper pulp, bread, vegetables and straw into garments.
